Chianti is very well-known all around the world and it’s one of the most coveted Italian vacation destination and weddings area. Its stunning beauty, with its luscious forest hills and fruitful vineyards amazes the tourists and the Italians to the same extent. Just next to our castle in Tuscany, stands the Romanesque church of Santo Stefano a Campoli (Campus Pauli). The interior, divided into three naves, has the arches covered with elegant eighteenth-century stucco and plaster. Three other churches stand a short distance from our castle in Tuscany: The Pieve di Santa Cecilia a Decimo, about 5 Km (9 minutes), a building that under the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries structure preserves the basilica of the Romanesque period. The Parish of St. Pancrazio, about 7 Km (12 minutes), dating back to the most archaic of Romanesque art (the first half of the eleventh century). The Parish of St. Giovanni in Sugana, about 12Km (17 minutes), recorded since the eleventh century and rebuilt in the late Romanesque shape in the early thirteenth century, retains a "Pietà" attributed to the workshop of Giovanni Della Robbia; at the side of the Church there is a beautiful Renaissance cloister.
